Environmental Health Lectures in Nursing Classes
Through this collaboration faculty members from the Boston University School of Public Health, the Harvard School of Public Health, GBPSR members, and other local experts are available to give lectures in nursing classes. Presentations may include discussions of:
- Environmental health issues encountered by nurses
- Environmental health issues facing vulnerable populations (children, the elderly, etc.)
- Specific chemicals or environmental hazards
- Lead
- Volatile Organic Compounds
- Mercury
- Phthalates
- Specific content areas
- Toxicology
